a sunny weekend with 6 month old bugsy monroe

another month, another nickname! jade was greeted with sunshine on her 6 month birthday; it felt like the first day of summer. here our little bug stares into the camera, "go ahead already. take another photo of me"!

we started our day with breakfast at the beach & then walked along the beaten path that is pch. we browsed through several shops and played with jade along the way. papa stole a hug and a squeeze at every opportunity.

bug showed off her incredible desire to walk; strutting her stuff down one of the walkways.

and if the beach wasn't celebration enough, we took jade to a huge baby super store where she tried out bouncers and walkers and many fantastic play things. she tried on sunglasses [which were swiftly tossed across the room], sat perfectly on a pint sized princess bed, and stole our heart with her laughter and curiosity.

once jade grew tired of the gigantic baby store we headed over to the smith's for a late afternoon bbq, enjoyed several more sunshine filled hours, and shared jade with our friends.

we had a fantastic day celebrating our 6-month old puffin, swedish muffin, lady jadey, truffle pig, apple pie, bugsy [monroe]. believe it or not, jade gets more kisses than she has nicknames...
