in the u.s. it is customary to celebrate news of a pregnancy by throwing a baby shower. a traditional shower consists of women only gathering at the hosts home to play the most awful "baby" games and open gifts. since we do not consider ourselves to fall into the category of traditionalists, we opted for a more updated version of the baby shower; a co-ed party at trevor & lea's beach house where there were no silly baby games and no opening gifts in front of our guests. we celebrated with delicious treats, wine, beer, sparkling sodas, and plenty of mingling. thanks to lea & corrie for organizing our very special day! every detail was perfect and we felt so loved. and a big thank you to all our friends and family who made this day so wonderful for us! our little girl was spoiled with so many lovely gifts.

lea made this adorable mailbox cover so guests would have no trouble finding the party!

What a wonderful event! I love the cup cakes, the flowers, the mailbox and the pictures of the happy parents to be...all of it. Seems like a wonderful day and we look forward to celebrate with you very soon. Lots of love!
