sushi | snooze | smile

life with jade is incredible. every day is filled with new facial expressions & entirely new emotions for me & calle. seeing jade smile brings as much happiness to my heart as any memory in life thus far. at six weeks many changes are taking place; she is finally taking one long nap each day allowing me enough time to make [and eat!] breakfast or lunch depending on the time of day she decides to take her "power snooze". i am also able to fit in a decent shower & time to straighten up the house a bit. six weeks does not mark a milestone for baby alone; it is now that i am able to begin a real fitness routine without any concern for injury. the doctor gave me the green light yesterday to return to life "as normal"...although the new normal is certainly different than pre-baby!
