hello, warm sand! it's mid november and technically late fall but the weather here feels like summer. saturday morning we headed down to our favorite stretch of beach in laguna for a nice walk and then to zinc cafe for breakfast and a latte.
calle appropriately titled this photo, " little cotie, big cup". 
on our way back to the car we spotted a sweet little westie who gladly posed for a photo. elin, this ones for you!
this year golf has been a rarity. in fact, saturday morning was only his fifth time out to the course since our return from south africa in january. as you can imagine, calle was extremely happy to put on his bright pink pants & j. lindeberg shirt for a 12:48 tee time with stefan. i was equally excited that after golfing calle was finally getting a haircut!
on sunday, while the san diego chargers were busy at work beating the philiadelphia eagles, and calle was busy watching them, i hung the rod stewart vinyl records nils & mary gifted us during their travels here in july. a little overdue, but well worth the wait! [special thanks to the hellbjorn's for their contribution to calle's "lounge"].
the completed work was inspected by calle & ingo; they gladly stamped the hanging with their seal of approval.
we wrapped up the day with a trip to IKEA and enjoyed a .50 cent hot dog on our way out the door!
and as calle worked on uploading the photos for our blog entry, ingo gave a helping paw.

ReplyDeleteSunshine walks at our favourite beach - the best beach in the whole world as I would say : ) You seem to have a pretty relaxed life over there. We're so glad that you're more active bloggers now so that we can follow your life and happenings. Enjoy the sunshine, here it is a grey fog, rain and dark and we can't wait to go to SA and enjoy the sun and good food and good company of course. Will miss you a lot though. When are you coming to Sweden to visit your nephew? Anna
