the visit was a surprise, and worked like a charm!
we approached elin's beach house to find her reading outside.
elin's exact words were "wow, you look so much like nicole!"
checked out the view from high point overlook...
enjoyed the spectacular scenery...
lounged in the shade...
and finished the trek with great enthusiasm!
we arrived home to aliso viejo and decided it was the perfect time for a round of twilight golf - calle enjoyed teeing off with his new driver and i played the best 9 holes of my golf career!
unfortunately between the holmgren siblings there was not a memory card in sight, so there are no pictures to document the priceless look of surprise upon her face.
the evening was a great success as well; champagne and spring salad outside on the picnic table followed by a trip to extraordinary desserts & finally the evening finale at the "w".
sunday morning calle & i went hiking at torrey pines state reserve. the weather was [as usual] perfect.
